How to write a fair professor review

Describe what you experienced

Review a professor you actually studied with. Focus on specific teaching practices, feedback, assessment or workload you observed. If useful, include the course context without details that identify you or another student. Do not repeat rumors or claim to speak for everyone.

Be balanced and specific

Mixed and negative experiences are welcome. Explain what worked, what was difficult and why it mattered to your learning. Keep criticism about teaching, not personal traits. Write within the form’s length limit and check that your rating matches your experience.

Protect people’s privacy

Do not include names of students, contact details, identifying incidents, threats, harassment or unsupported allegations. Public anonymity is not a reason to post information that could harm someone. Reviews can be held for moderation or published after a delay; submission does not guarantee publication.
