How it works
Three steps from finding a professor to posting a rating.
1
Find your professor
Search for a professor or browse universities and departments.
2
Sign in and set your affiliation
Continue with Google, then choose a university and department in Settings. The assignment is self-declared and cannot be changed.
3
Rate without showing your email
Your Google email and account identity do not appear beside public ratings. Sign-in does not verify student status.
Privacy in one minute
What other students see, and what stays private
You never rate under your name. The scores are public; the account behind them is not.
Public
- The scores and short tags you submit
- Totals per professor and per university
- Ratings-per-semester counts at most, so the cap is checkable
Never public
- Your Google email or account name
- The handle your account uses
- Any list that says who rated a professor
Inside the database, a rating stays linked to a private account so duplicate ratings and rating limits can be enforced. That link is a random internal ID, and your email is stored only as a one-way keyed digest, never as the address itself.
Signing in proves you control a Google account. It does not prove you are a student, or that you took the class you rate.
